The Vineyard Journal, as it is written currently, is formatted as a WordPress blog. Designed in 2019, it certainly has its advantages such as searches by keywords, tags and categories. Prior to this, our journal (2008-2014) existed in “old-fashioned” HTML and it was read chronologically from top to bottom. Then in 2015 we entered the world of social media, creating Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. The media platforms are fun but don’t satisfy the purpose the original journal served — that being to share an unfolding narrative that is easy to read. In an effort to preserve the whole of our history we have pasted the original journal text and photos into the current mobile-friendly web site. The years of 2015 through 2019 are also captured in our archives by harvesting photos from Facebook posts. These pages are not searchable like the blog but we hope you find them interesting just the same. Please follow the links below:
